Al Ain National Museum



Al Ain National Museum is located on the edge of the oasis of Al Ain, and displays the city's heritage and history unique. The museum is located near the castle Sheikh Sultan bin Zayed (or Eastern Fort) in the same complex. 

The museum is divided into three sections: the Department of Archaeology and Ethnography Department and the Department of souvenirs and presents an overview of the various aspects of life in the United Arab Emirates. Museum collections include an interesting collection of nomads such as jewelry, musical instruments, weapons, and Arab councils rebuilt. 

There is in the Department of Archaeology a wide range of collectibles that include a large number of pieces extracted from Hili garden nearby, so it is advisable to visit the museum before heading to the gardens. 

The history of some of the exhibits, such as those extracted from century girl Saud (12 kilometers north of Hailey) to the first millennium BC. The section contains a set of exceptional gifts of gifts received by the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, in his life, which includes a golden swords and daggers, silver and gold palm trees. There are cards in both Arabic and English to explain the pieces on display. 

Entry Fee: AED 3 for adults, AED and one for children under 10 years 
Opening Hours: Daily from eight in the morning until seven thirty in the evening except Mondays (closed); Friday: From the third until the seventh and half of the afternoon.
